Once you get passed I-10 and the prisons heading south on Wilmot Rd is now paved and great place to connect to many ride variations.
The best way to get to this new section of road is to get off of “The Loop” at Wilmot Rd and head south. This section of road is perfect for triathletes looking for a good section of road to for and out and back time trial.
If you are doing the Shootout Group Bike Ride and live on the east side of town and not wanting to go up Helmet Peak this is a great way to get home.
