Squeeze The Lemon Mountain Bike Ride – Tucson, Arizona
If you are looking for a long tough day in the saddle this is the mountain bike ride for you.
You will squeeze the lemon right out of yourself!
This is the perfect ride to get ready for a mountain bike event to get some good endurance base miles in. Perfect training for the Leadville 100 mountain bike race or the Whiskey 50.
The ride takes you out the east side of Tucson up Redington Road then loops around towards San Manuel. Then you go up the back side of Mt Lemmon. Up to this point you are all on dirt roads. Once to the top of Mt Lemmon you decent back into Tucson on pavement.
You can fuel up at the top of Mt Lemmon in Summer Haven. But the hard part of the ride is done so make sure you are prepared with plenty of hydration and food.
